Charlie was purchased the day after Christmas when she was 8 months old in 2005. Her sire, a herd sire on the Horse
Head Ranch, passed away the year she was born. Her bloodlines go back to Pocahontas, Bandit, Andaluz, Lonesome,
Pale Face, Narragansett, and San Domingo.
She is a taller Spanish Mustang, already standing nearly 14.2. She will probably mature around 15hh. She is a very
gentle and intelligent mare. Charlie was sent out for saddle training April, 2009 and we have been working on
getting some miles in on the trail since then. Already she has impressed me with her easy smooth canter, willingness
to go, and ability to really cover miles at a good pace.
